Your Expert Montessori Consultant
with a background as an engineer
I’m Millicent! A certified Montessori educator from the UK who’s spent the past 13 years building vast experience of what works in early years settings—and then using that knowledge to transform preschools. Now in Kuwait, homeschooling my 6-year-old son, I support preschools, parents and educators to make leaps in their education, and actualize profound results from a modern Montessori way.
My story
Before embarking on over a decade of working with young children, my life looked entirely different. I was an electrical and electronics engineer by profession.
But after an unplanned 2 years of volunteering at a Christian organization—and seeing the impact nurturing adults could have on little ones—early childhood education became a passion that made me pivot my whole career in its direction.
As a Montessori educator/manager/trainer who’s been able to transform languishing early years settings into thriving places that young ones and parents loved, I’ve seen how results come from focusing on principles, adapting to each child, and always instilling interest.
Outside of Montessori consultations and training, you’ll find me in Kuwait homeschooling Jedi (my 6-year-old son), sharing the journey at @themontessoristudio on Instagram, and taking every chance for a family adventure.
My approach
Embracing the science
At its heart, Montessori is about experimenting, testing, and refining methods to discover what works. Every child is unique, but the principles of science never change.
Showing, not just telling
As a mom who’s homeschooled her son since he was 6 months old, I’ve shared my journey to show parents how Montessori works—and not just say what to do.
Committed to your results
The Montessori method has every potential to nurture wholesome, independent, and thriving children—when adapted to this age, and to each child’s unique needs.
Supporting your growth
Ultimately, the development of any child depends on the work put in, commitment, and growth of their teachers/parents—and I’ll support you every step of the way through it.
